Innovatium is delighted to be shortlisted for The Engineer Collaborate to Innovate Awards 2024 in the Energy & Environment category.
Now in its ninth year, Collaborate to Innovate (C2I) was launched to celebrate great examples of engineering collaboration – a dynamic considered critical to solving many of the challenges and problems faced by society. The competition is judged by a prestigious panel of leading UK engineers.
This shortlisting recognises Innovatium’s PRISMA; Advanced Liquid Air Energy Storage technology for its potential to provide multiple solutions to the energy and commercial challenges faced by industrial energy users, including the cost of energy, the route to industrial decarbonisation and Net Zero, and energy security.
Importantly, the C2I Awards celebrate collaboration. Built on a shared vision to revolutionise energy storage, PRISMA reflects a strong partnership between Innovatium and its academic and industrial collaborators, including the University of Birmingham, City University of London, and Aggregate Industries.
Winners will be announced on 27 February 2024, celebrating engineering innovations that deliver tangible benefits to society and industry.
Commenting on our shortlisting, Simon Branch our CEO and co-founder said:
“We’re thrilled to have made it to the finals of The Engineer Collaborate to Innovate Awards 2024, we are looking forward to the big day!
PRISMA has already earned recognition from several sustainability and ESG awards, which we’re incredibly proud of. However, the C2I Awards are particularly special because they celebrate collaboration and engineering excellence. It is fantastic to see our technology listed amongst the finalists. This is an inspiring milestone for our engineers, our wider team, and our collaborators.”
